I love these orange flowers that grow wild everywhere in Fairfield County. I first arrived here in June (199?) as a missionary and was struck by their vivid color. To me, when I see these flowers, I know it is summertime in Connecticut. Anyone know what they are?

Are those tiger lillies? I know they grew everywhere in Boulder too. They are gorgeous and our yard would be full of them in full bloom had the deer not gobbled them up!!!
